Outlet bikes have either been returned by other customers, have had a little knock in the factory, or are from a discontinued range. To help you find the perfect bike, we’ve divided them into categories – depending on how much they’ve been used in the past.
Of course, all bikes have been given a full Bike Doctor checkup and ride perfectly.
The two categories of damage are: ‘small’ and ‘medium’ and you can find example pictures of how we define these categories below. You can also choose between a bike that has been on the road for less than 500 km or more than 500 km. Of course, the state the bike is in will be reflected in what price it's sold at.

Yes, we’ll send you a payment confirmation via email as soon as you’ve left the checkout. Your invoice will be sent to you the moment that your bike leaves our warehouse.

Your bike will ship within 2 weeks of ordering. You’ll receive a Track & Trace email the moment your bike ships, so you can follow its journey to your door.
All purchases are final. This means we won’t be able to change an order once it is placed. The only option is to cancel your purchase with us and order again. To cancel your order, please contact our support team.
Yes – you have 14 days to return the bike for a full refund. You’ll need to re-pack the bike and ship it back to our warehouse. You’ll find the full return instructions here.
When it comes to bikes, size does matter. To make sure you are riding with a frame that fits you, follow these guidelines:
If you're 155-200cm tall, our X-frame models will fit your best.
If you're 170-210cm tall, our S-frame models will fit your best.
The size of the outlet sale means it’s unfortunately not possible to photograph every bike. We have inspected all bikes and put them into categories to let you know exactly what kind of wear and tear you can expect.
You can add our 3 years of Peace of Mind: Theft coverage to your outlet order. Peace of Mind: Maintenance is not available for outlet bikes.
When you report your bike stolen in the VanMoof App, we alert our Bike Hunter team to track it down. If we can’t recover it for you within two weeks, we'll replace it with a bike of the same (or better) age and condition.
No, we can’t go any lower than the current discounts.
You cannot purchase accessories in the outlet, but you can still buy them separately in our brand stores, or at vanmoof.com. Please note that you’ll have to fit any accessories yourself.
