Both the front headlights and rear panels are shielded by high-quality polycarbonate, the same durable, shatterproof material used to make airplane windows and fighter jet cockpits. In the event of an impact, the rear panel and headlights will not shatter.

Lumos meets the rigorous safety standards of the CPSC (USA), ASTM F1447 (Canada) and EN1078 (Europe).

The size of the helmet is 56 – 61 cm (approx. 22 - 24 inches).
