VanMoof V Reservation Terms & Conditions

 

  1. These terms and conditions (“T&C”) apply to the Reservation and come into effect when you register on the vanmoof.com website, make a reservation by clicking on the button "Reservation", and finalize the purchasing process for the Reservation. You are bound by the Reservation, but you can still withdraw from it under the conditions described below.
  2. The Reservation gives you the right to purchase the VanMoof V (without accessories or registration fees) for the then current retail price, have the amount paid for the Reservation, deducted from that purchase price and offers you for a limited time customer priority in delivery of the VanMoof V.
  3. VanMoof shall announce the date from when you can purchase the VanMoof V and will then issue the Reservation code that will be valid for 6 months (“Validity Period”), and the period in which you can get customer priority in delivery of the VanMoof V (“Priority period”). If you have not purchased a VanMoof V within the Validity Period, VanMoof cancels the Reservation automatically and you will get a full refund on your bank account within 14 days.
  4. You acknowledge that the estimated time of order, delivery or a combination of both,  of the VanMoof V is at the moment of purchasing of the Reservation dependent on various factors, some of which are outside the influence of VanMoof, and you accept that therefore estimated time of order, delivery, or a combination of both may be extended.   
  5. After the purchase of the Reservation you will receive information on the delivery moment of the VanMoof V.   
  6. The purchase of the VanMoof V is subject to your agreement to the then current General VanMoof Terms & Conditions. 
  7. The Reservation is only valid for VanMoof V, not for other models, products or services of VanMoof.
  8. The Reservation is only valid for the purchase of one VanMoof V. After the purchase, the Reservation becomes ineffective for further use. 
  9. The Reservation cannot be used in combination with any other promotion or discount. 
  10. The Reservation is strictly personal, linked to your personal account and email address, and cannot be transferred to, or used by, others.
  11. You are eligible to cancel the Reservation, no reason necessary. You cannot cancel your Reservation after you purchased a VanMoof V.
  12. VanMoof is eligible to cancel the Reservation under one or both of the following circumstances: 
    1. Import and or export restrictions;
    2. Material barriers to market entry;
  13. After a cancellation by VanMoof, under one of the two conditions in this agreement, or by you, no reason necessary, VanMoof renders your Reservation invalid, and you will get a full refund, within 14 days. 
  14. Please note that images shown in VanMoof’s promotional activities are artistic expressions of the VanMoof V and are not an exact reflection of the product specifications.

Limited-edition S3 Aluminum

To the sales of a limited-edition VanMoof S3 are the following terms applicable: The bike is produced in a limited amount and in one color only, aluminum. It is only available for online purchases for consumers residing in the Netherlands, Germany, France and the United States at www.vanmoof.com, not in the stores, outlets, or via partner programs, such as leasing, cycle schemes and company bike programs. As the production of this model is limited, both the warranty process and the Peace of Mind Theft service will require approval from VanMoof and may be subject to alternate resolutions. The bike purchase cannot be used in conjunction with any discount code or other promotion but it is possible to use credit and referral codes with this purchase. Please see the also applicable general terms and conditions for items that are not discussed here.

VanMoof Trade-In Offer Terms & Conditions

  1. These terms and conditions ("T&C") apply to the Trade-in offer and come into effect after filling in the trade-in form with your bike information and by purchasing a VanMoof S5/A5 bike using the received code through the Bike Trade-in program.
  2. If your bike qualifies for the Trade-in program, you will receive a code to redeem your trade-in value on a full price VanMoof S5/A5 purchase.
  3. Actual trade-in value awarded is based on receipt of the traded-in VanMoof bike matching the description provided when estimate was made. VanMoof will assess the condition of your traded-in VanMoof bike at receipt in store. In case the condition indicated by you does not match the state of the bike at the moment of return to VanMoof, VanMoof will invoice the discrepancy of trade-in value value.
  4. Trade-in values will vary based on the condition, age, and mileage of your eligible traded-in VanMoof bike.
  5. The purchase gives you the right to receive a VanMoof S5/A5 with the obligation to return your traded-in VanMoof to the specific VanMoof store location indicated via email. You have the right to return your traded-in VanMoof bike any time after purchase of the VanMoof S5/A5 until 7 days before the communicated delivery date. The delivery of your new VanMoof S5/A5 will be withheld until the return of your traded-in bike.
  6. In case VanMoof does not receive your traded-in bike until 14 days after the expected delivery date of your VanMoof S5/A5, we will cancel your order.
  7. Only returns to indicated VanMoof stores are accepted. Shipped in trade-in bikes will not be accepted.
  8. Not all VanMoof models are eligible for the Trade-in Program.
  9. The offer is linked to your personal account and email address with which you have registered your bike. You must be the rightful owner of the traded-in VanMoof bike to be eligible to redeem the Trade-in offer.
  10. In case of returning your new S5 or A5, VanMoof will not return your exact S3, X3, S2, or X2, but one from our Outlet store of equivalent value.
  11. Offer may not be available in all stores, and may vary between in-store and online trade-in.
  12. The Trade-in code cannot be used in combination with any other promotion or discount.
