US Fulfillment Manager
Are you an analytical, hands-on leader who's inspired by our mission to reset the mobility status quo in cities worldwide? Our US-based team is expanding and we're on the lookout for a US Fulfillment Manager to lead and grow our bi-coastal teams. In this role, you'll be responsible for the daily operations of our East and West Coast warehouses, nationwide logistics, and you'll set the strategy for all US operations.
As our Fulfillment Manager, you'll make sure that our riders' delivery experience is of the highest standard, and be accountable for all VanMoof products – from the moment they leave our production headquarters in Taiwan, to when they reach our riders or one of our retail locations. You'll play a key role in replenishing our growing number of VanMoof stores in the US, and be a main stakeholder and connection to our HQ in Amsterdam.
Our ideal candidate is a strong leader with an equal parts analytical and operational mindset. You're capable to setting up a long-term strategy, sticking to it, and aren't afraid to get stuck in yourself to make sure it's being well executed. You have excellent communication skills, and have had experience with remote management.
Please not that it's possible to be based both out of New York/New Jersey as well as Seattle.
What you’ll do:
You'll set and execute a growth strategy to support our rapid growth in 2022 and beyond, including our warehouse and/or third party logistics expansion.
You'll define and manage the budget for all VanMoof locations, factoring in logistics costs.
You'll be responsible for designing and implementing cost savings initiatives and efforts to push VanMoof into profitability.
You'll play a key role in supporting new product launches in new regions, coordinating with global logistics providers to make sure operations are properly setup.
You'll support in making Fulfillment Operations data driven, analyse operational KPIs, and use data to improve operations.
You'll make sure that performance targets are met for service commitments (order inception to delivery) to our internal and external customers, across all products within the region.
You'll make sure that we comply with our established procedures and specifications.
You'll grow a strong team of leaders and project managers who'll safeguard the global standard for VanMoof’s operations.
You'll collaborate with managers in the EU and in Japan to create global standard for warehousing structure.
What you'll bring:
You have experience in fulfillment operations, audit controls, and reporting.
You have a robust understanding of quality assurance processes in distribution centers.
You have experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced environment.
You're analytically and technically proficient when it comes to leveraging software tools including warehouse management (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP), and supply chain visibility portals.
You are an expert in Excel and Google suite. Experience with SQL queries is a plus.
