Product Owner Customer Portal

We’re obsessed with cities and bikes. Are you? We’re looking for a Product Owner to help us deliver a stellar customer experience in our My VanMoof customer portal and appointment booking planning tool.

My VanMoof is the go-to place for our riders when they’re looking for information about their orders, bikes, and our services. My VanMoof supports riders when they’re first getting to grips with their new ride and our decision tree keeps helping even the most seasoned VanMoof rider.

Our planning tool primarily support the part of My VanMoof that allows our riders to plan repair appointments. As well as that, our planning tool is used on our eCommerce website for people to schedule a test ride at any of our locations worldwide. The tool also has internal users such as content managers and store admins: these stakeholders all need to be kept happy and engaged.

As a Product Owner, you’ll write functional user stories to support our internal development team, and manage stakeholders by proactively communicating priorities, timing, functionality, and results. You’ll also build strong relationships with key teams throughout the company, and most important: you settle for nothing less than the best for our riders. Sound like you?

What you’ll do:

  • You’ll shape the vision of the My VanMoof product and the planning tool, and help deliver the most value for our riders.

  • You’ll shape the roadmaps of My VanMoof, the planning tool, and consider the input of our stakeholders carefully to guarantee that the Development team is working on the most impactful initiatives.

  • You’ll get all stakeholders familiar with our roadmap, and organize sprint reviews to discuss sprint outcomes and planning in detail.

  • You’ll make the team breathe, eat, and live agile. You’ll assume, experiment, and validate as quickly as you can to make a big impact on our customer experience.

  • You’ll work together closely with the product owners of our core systems (such as ERP, eCommerce, and Bike Doctor repair software) to align your teams and roadmaps.

  • You’ll keep your workplace tidy: the backlog is clearly prioritised and your user stories are a true story that any stakeholder (from developer to department lead) can understand the background and intended impact of.

What you’ll bring:

  • At least 2 years’ experience as a Product Owner.

  • A will to get the very best for customers.

  • Proven experience of managing multiple stakeholders, such as Design, Customer Support, Operations, and CRM.

  • Experience working with development teams.

  • Experience in translating business needs into chunks of work that developers can master.

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum, and a keen interests in industry best practices and trends.

  • Discipline to document new features, and an enjoyment of helping others to use their product.

  • An active role in mitigating issues to realise release/sprint goals.
