So what will be your role and responsibilities? It’ll be your mission to shape the employee experience globally by creating an inspiring and immersive environment that makes it easy for our teams to recognize their potential. We’ll expect you to keep a detailed overview of all administrative reports throughout the employee journey and be ready to make improvements to processes to make policies clearer and easier for everyone. You’ll be the main point of contact for Retail teams regarding any questions they have relating from people to operations. Our ideal candidate will be expected to streamline and optimize people-focused processes without compromising employee engagement.

What you’ll do

  • You’ll be the main point of contact for our employees in stores and warehouses in NL, DE, FR, and the UK. 

  • You’ll be able to simplify difficult processes when answering questions, making it accessible and understandable for everyone. 

  • You’ll handle all administrative touchpoints throughout the employee journey – ranging from creating employment-related documents to keeping all personnel systems up-to-date. 

  • You’ll be responsible for building processes in a scalable way but making sure our employees remain at the center. 

  • You’ll cooperate with external parties and be their main point of contact (e.g., payroll companies, Arbo services, UWV, tax authorities, etc.).

  • You’ll support internal groups like The Voice (works council) and the DE&I taskforce. 

  • You’ll work closely with our business partner and your colleagues in the People team working on projects to improve the overall employee experience at VanMoof. 

What you’ll bring

  • You have two years of experience owning and executing the full employee cycle from start to finish, bonus points if it was in an international and fast-growing company. 

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, or you are currently working within this field. 

  • You have experience in handling salary administration and advising team leads on basic employee matters. 

  • You thrive in a proactive team environment, placing importance on accuracy and details. 

  • You’re able to handle confidential information with care while remaining friendly and approachable.

  • You have in-depth knowledge of Dutch labor and social laws – bonus points for one other market (DE, FR, or the UK).

  • You live in or around Amsterdam or are willing to travel to our office in Amsterdam 3 days per week minimum. 

  • You have an excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken. Bonus points for Dutch language skills.

Extremely nice to have

  • You have hands-on experience with BambooHR, CultureAmp, or Deputy.

  • You have experience in a retail environment.

  • You have prior knowledge of the automation of workflows.

  • You have an excellent command of French or German.
