People Business Partner

VanMoof is an innovative bike company with a rapidly expanding team of riders all over the world. We’re currently looking for a People Partner to join us and support our management (as well as their teams) by providing strategic business partnership and coaching. So what will be your role and responsibilities? Well, it comes as no surprise that our People team plays an essential role collaborating with our senior leaders to deliver people-related programs company wide, as well as shaping the employee experience of all teams across the globe. Your focus will range from high-level strategic planning, program design and hands on problem solving. You’ll be working closely with the Operations team across all five countries, and be supported by another People Partner and two People Operations Specialists. We’ll expect you to thrive in a collaborative and dynamic environment and be motivated about getting the best out of your colleagues. 

What you’ll do

  • You’ll establish an in depth strategic partnership with a diverse set of leaders.

  •  You’ll be accountable for creating and driving elements of the people strategy for your area of responsibility – making sure it drives both the organisational and people objectives.

  • You will execute and lead flawless people processes  – this will range from performance management, culture, learning and development, resourcing talent and workforce planning. 

  • You’ll work with management to provide a performance and development framework and establish capability around engagement, coaching, development, and performance expectations.

  • You will be responsible for talent practices, identifying and developing future leaders to ensure sustainability and growth. 

  • You’ll work with our recruitment team to provide a clear and thorough understanding of the business needs including workforce planning.

  • You’ll work with your team and the CPO to determine, implement and execute the people strategy and roadmap. 

  • You’ll lead people focused projects across the globe.

  • You’ll facilitate and be responsible for the effectiveness of internal groups like The Voice (works council) and the DE&I taskforce. 

  • You’ll have excellent knowledge within DE&I and will constantly be striving toward higher company aspirations and goals. 

What you’ll bring

  • You’ll have 7+ years of strategic HR Business Partnering experience within a global and dynamic environment. Bonus points if you have 1-2 years of managerial experience and working with retail or operation teams.

  • You’ll have experience in working with senior stakeholders (VP, Director or C-level).

  • You’ll have knowledge of global labour and social laws.

  • You’ll have excellent understanding in all areas of HR – including designing programs and executing them, facilitating team sessions, compensation & benefits, succession planning, and talent development.

  • You’ll have an innovative vision when it comes to HR, and the ability to make solid connections between business outcomes and people initiatives. 

  • You’ll have expertise in joining strong business insight with HR know-how and creative problem-solving.

  • You have an excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken. Bonus points for Dutch language skills.

  • You’ll have the drive to design and implement projects from scratch and tackle challenges head on. 

  • You live and breathe communication and know exactly how to get the best out of people.
