People Business Partner
VanMoof is looking for a People Business Partner as part of the People Team to support our management (and their teams) in providing strategic business partnership and coaching, as well as developing people-related solutions to support VanMoof’s next growth phase and international expansion. As VanMoof grows quickly, our People Team has an essential role in collaborating with team leaders to deliver people-related programs, coaching, and shaping the employee experience of our team members across all teams around the globe. You’ll need to thrive in a collaborative, high-growth environment and be passionate about building innovative people programs and processes.
Aside from coaching and guiding our management/leadership on all people related topics in the employee life cycle, you will also be closely involved in defining and implementing the People Roadmap and will own and execute projects related to culture, org design, engagement, compensation & benefits etc. This is a great opportunity for an inventive HR player who wants to roll up their sleeves to execute a full range of people topics from high-level strategy to program design to real hands-on problem-solving/execution.
What you'll do
Ensure cutting edge people support to enable the attraction, development, and retention of top talent.
Help leaders provide productive performance and development feedback and help VanMoof build capability around regular goal setting/OKRs, feedback, coaching, development, and performance expectations.
Council with team leaders on all employee matters and come up with practical solutions for any issues.
Identify and deploy impactful strategies and policies that enable VanMoof to perform effectively and scale efficiently as we grow.
Partner effectively with other cross-functional teams such as Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Talent Development, and more.
Use data to help influence change and recommend improvements to the employee experience and guide our team leaders.
People projects and initiatives
Together with the CPO and the People Team, determine, implement, and execute (part of) the people strategy and roadmap, and ensure it is aligned with VanMoof’s business objectives.
Drive cross-functional people projects and initiatives as needed.
What you'll bring
3-5 years of HR Business Partnering experience within a global and dynamic (hyper growth) environment, have experienced different sorts of employee cases.
Experience in all facets of HR – both designing programs as executing them, including facilitating team sessions, working on projects like performance management, succession planning, and culture.
Innovative HR vision with the ability to make connections between business outcomes and people initiatives.
Experience in mixing strong business insight with HR know-how and creative problem-solving.
Excellent spoken and written English (native level) – Dutch is a nice bonus
You are a natural people person, great communicator, and have experience in how to get the best out of people.
A proven track record of rapid self-learning. You love to challenge the status quo in order to build the best experience for employees.
Knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Knowledge of Dutch labour and social laws (preferably also other countries).
