Imagine the hustle and bustle of the city – always moving between speed and stillness, crowds and solitude. What does your city sound like as you move through it? One moment you’re surrounded by chatter, people and cars, the next you’re in a quiet corner, lost in your own world. Every second brings something new. It’s alive and always in motion.
In collaboration with Glamcult, Uncharted Tracks presents the sound of Berlin, London and Amsterdam. Three cities. Three artists. Three tracks. One exclusive vinyl. The visionary Supergloss, Cosima, and JAEL reimagined Berlin, London and Amsterdam using the cities' rhythm and pace as inspiration – creating tracks that subtly blend in the sounds of the city and a VanMoof, if you listen closely.
If you’re in the mood for energy, producer JAEL, recently named one of Mixmag’s Defining DJs of the Year, will take you right there with his track. “I want my audience to feel like they’re truly part of the journey – hopping on, cruising through the city, and syncing with its energy” he mentions to Glamcult. Combining his vibrant beats, soulful grooves, and dynamic rhythms, his track mirrors the city’s effortless flow – fast, free, and full of life.
Techno powerhouse, Supergloss, who’s set to play at Chicago’s Arc Music Festival this year, channeled the city's constant shifts, drawing from the city’s diverse impressions – changing scents, shifting temperatures and the unique styles you encounter on every corner. She envisioned a character riding through an “electrified dystopian world” she mentions to Glamcult. This pulsating, mechanical synergy translates into her track: high-energy, layered with gritty textures, and charged with a dark, electric intensity.
Cosima brings the soul of London to life with her slow-burning vocals, creating hypnotic sounds that have captivated audiences at major fashion shows and beyond. Though naturally introverted, the city has always found a way to reach her. “Cycling around London, where I grew up, reminded me of everything that has happened—good and bad—and yet here I still am, just me and my songs, riding my bike,” she tells Glamcult. This deep connection between movement and self-reflection became the foundation of her track, which she considers a note to herself.
For one weekend only we hosted a listening exhibition at the Glamcult Store, completely transforming the space with VanMoof frames and immersive visuals to offer an inside look at the creative process behind these tracks.
