We know that test rides make a difference. And we want as many riders as possible to see how the VanMoof S3 & X3 can transform their cities. That’s why we’re boosting our brand store reach with an international network of pop-up test locations. In our new blog series, we’re zeroing in on our latest cities – and taking you on an insider-only ride with the local team.
At Regeringsgatan 61, located in the central part of Stockholm, you’ll find Felicia, Paula, and Matilda. We’re a close-knit team proudly representing VanMoof’s first pop-up in Sweden. Stop by and we’ll introduce you to the VanMoof S3 & X3, explain all their features, and set you up with a test ride through some of Stockholm’s most charming and bike-friendly places.
First and foremost, Nytorget. An oasis of restaurants and lovely cafes characterises this area in the south of Stockholm. You’ll find eateries that offer everything from a typical Swedish lunch to an exclusive Italian pasta for dinner. Our top tip? Stop by one of the many cafes in the area for a traditional Swedish fika – best enjoyed with a cinnamon bun and a cup of coffee.
To try out our favourite bike feature – the Turbo Boost – head to Djurgården. This is an area filled with long, green stretches of land so you can really get the feel of gliding through nature. Head down to the waterside and hit the Turbo Boost on one of the many promenades in the Royal National City Park. On the island of Djurgården, you’ll find museums, exhibitions, restaurants, and even amusement parks. Park your bike by the ABBA museum, secure your bike with the Kick Lock and explore the area without worry.
Gamla stan is the oldest part of central Stockholm, known for its traditional cobblewood streets and wooden houses. It’s the perfect place to explore some history and culture – think beautiful architecture, charming alleyways, and Swedish cultural heritage. Take part in one of the guided tours of the Royal Palace or explore Stortorget’s many markets. You’ll be taken away by the colorful facades of the buildings and the smell of roasted almonds – a typical snack made with a recipe dating back to the middle ages. This is an area that truly embraces and celebrates tradition. You might even catch a glimpse of the Swedish King and Queen, or the crown princess Victoria in the old town around the palace!
Just a stone’s throw away from the main streets on the south side of the city, you’ll find Mosebackterassen. Drink a glass of wine on wooden benches, enjoy the fantastic view, listen to live music, and challenge your friends to a round of table tennis in this bustling area. End your evening at Södra teatern for a cosy party vibe in this theatre-by-day, bar-by-night venue.
Heads up! Our pop-up locations will be closing in the near future. Check below for the last available dates – and don’t miss your chance to test ride the VanMoof S3 & X3 in your city.
