And when their brand new store landed in Amsterdam’s Nine Streets, we wanted to give them our warmest welcome the best way we know how: it was time to ride.

Looking for a leafy ride that gets you from A to B the scenic route? Amsterdam’s famous Vondelpark is for you. The paths that wind their way through the city’s biggest inner-city park are a key route for cyclists, cutting through Amsterdam traffic and streamlining commutes. Soak up the lush green, ponds, and pagodas en route.

Weekend rides call for something a little different. Escape the hustle and bustle and hop on that bike and ride to the Amsterdamse Bos, a 30 minute bike from the city center. Before you know it, you’ll be surrounded by an oasis of calm. You’ll never run out of road on the endless bike paths: park up and enjoy an autumnal walk in the woods, go sailing on the Nieuwe Meer, or pet the goats on the farm.

Get acquainted with Oosterpark – one of Amsterdam’s best kept secrets. If you are in Amsterdam East and up for a breather from the concrete jungle, you’ll be more than happy here. Surrounded by plenty of hotspots and even a museum, the Oosterpark is one of our favorite hang-outs.
